New Roles, Changing Faces

Stephen O'Young & Maurice Cally accept new roles with the Preview team.

Preview announce the recent appointments of Stephen O’Young to the position of Chief Technologist and Maurice Cally to Principal, Professional Services.

 

The Chief Technologist role is instrumental in supporting Preview’s approach to utilising best of breed solutions for effective modernisation and transformation. “This role is designed to further strengthen our position as the leading provider of Modernisation and Transformation solutions in Australia”.  MD, Andy Haddon said.. “The Chief Technologist supports our ideal of giving clients a clear path to their IT future.  Stephen will take a dual role working directly with clients advising on the most appropriate technology direction for their business need and taking responsibility for the ongoing research and advancement of our technology offerings.  This role will ensure Preview solutions remain ahead of the game and effectively embrace emerging technology without adding legacy”

 

Mr O’Young said “new developments in mobile computing, social networking, virtualisation and cloud computing represent fantastic opportunities for our clients to extend their market reach, increase agility and achieve significant cost savings".  The chief technologist role is responsible for road mapping the company’s technological future from product-set definition to skill-set development and customer alignment.

 

Maurice Cally joins Preview bringing 25 years experience in professional services. Having worked in Australia and internationally, he has expertise building entire project teams for delivery of client requirements or providing specialist resources for a specific role. “Maurice is a great addition to our team.  His expertise in project delivery and strategic resourcing solutions really strengthen our ability to deliver on client expectations; accept responsibility and accountability; supporting on time and on budget project delivery.  Providing our clients with access to the best domain resources is key to the Preview value proposition. Maurice's network is significant and his work ethic supports the Preview aim to hire and provide the best people”, said Haddon. 

 

Mr Cally has worked predominantly in financial services, petroleum and federal government.  He is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
